Three dead in a tribal fight [Archives:2004/735/Local News]

Tension remains high at Al-Mafer province, on the provinces of Taiz Governorate following the violent armed fight, which took place on last Wednesday leading to the death of three people, including the brother of Saeed Fara, Member of Parliament for the province.
Sources stated that the fight erupted over a piece of land recently leased by the Endowment Office to one citizen while it was leased several years ago to someone else, the matter which led to igniting the fight there. The sources said that supporters of the Member of Parliament are surrounding a village in order avenge the killings.
