ADEN- Sept. 27- In coordination with the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Swedish Child Care Organization and the UNICWF organized a training course for workers in the juvenile court and the general attorney on Tuesday. The course was held under the title “The International Convention on Child Rights and the Two Optional Protocols”.

30 male and female participants from the juvenile court and a number of social specialists and judges from Aden, Hadramout, Abyan and Taiz attended the workshop.

Zaki N'oman, a program officer at the Swedish Child Care Organization in Aden, confirmed the course aims to raise the legal awareness on the acquired child rights. Participants on the course laid more emphasis on the international accord singed in February 2002, under the sale of children is banned.

Additionally, the participants urged the government to establish juvenile centers in provincial capitals all over the country to defend children and protect them from any malpractices.
