Training course on genetically improved agricultural products [Archives:2003/695/Local News]

A training course on the use of genetic improvement means to enhance agricultural products started in Sanaa last Saturday. The event is organized by the General Committee for Research and Agricultural Guidance in cooperation with the National Committee for Atomic Energy.
Around thirty trainee is being trained in the 5-day course, which will include lectures of 20 experts in various fields related to genetic engineering and will focus on establishing the first ever solid foundation for the possible use of means to grow improved agricultural products through genetic improvements.
