The three-day training session, held by UNICEF, for 15 journalists working in a number of official and private printing media organizations aiming at increasing their level of awareness toward childhood issues and children rights was concluded on Wednesday June 16.
Mr. Anis Salem, the Regional Media and Contact Programs Consultant at UNICEF, confirmed that the workshop aimed to provide professional writers with the tools required to cover children's development issues and to use their evaluation skills properly in understanding and determining the situations of children, as well as to enhance their own writing skills on children's rights.
