Two air freights to ssist Algerians [Archives:2003/638/Local News]

Mr. Abdullah Abdulwali Nasher, the Chairman of the Yemen Red Crescent Society has confirmed that the 2nd shipment assistance estimated at 70 tons of succors, blankets, and other medical and foodstuff supplies for the afflicted people in Algeria has been reached the Algerians.
Mr. Nasher emphasized that Yemenis have been positively responded to assist their brothers in Algeria.
Tradesmen, businessmen and other philanthropists have taken part in the assistance. It is to be mentioned that two cargoes have been flown to Algeria full of shipment to the afflicted.
The Algerian earthquake was one of the worst catastrophes of the century.
