UAE Authors Union Condemns Al-Qasimi’s Behavior [Archives:2001/36/Local News]

Describing it as uncivilized, the UAE Authors Union condemned the UAE writer, Al-Qasimi’s, breaking into the Yemeni Journalist Syndicate(YJS), August 21, with a group of soldiers.
Chairman of the YJS, Mahboub Ali received two phone calls from Naser Al-Dhaheri, chairman of UAE Authors Union and Habib Al-Saiegh, a UAE well-known writer, who expressed their solidarity with the Yemeni journalists’ stand and confirmed Al-Qasimi’s non-membership of the Union.
