Universities Tuition are Raised [Archives:1999/32/Local News]

The Yemeni Students Unions request students not to pay the increased tuition fees schedual by the universities for the next academic year, 1999-2000. “This is abusive and has to be terminated because it is against the constitution increasing the financial burden of students,” the students’ union declared. Fees for the scientific colleges have increased from 500 to 8000 and 200 to 6500 in the society colleges. Tuition will increase to 10000 next year a reliable source said.
