University Tuition Fees Increased [Archives:1999/28/Local News]

In spite of the fact that the majority of the people live under the line of poverty, it has been reported that the Cabinet has ratified in its session number 17, held in 19/5/1999, an amendment concerning the increase of the university tuition fees. The fees of the theoretical colleges are now YR. 3500, while that of the scientific colleges is YR. 5000, which is considered by many people unbearable.
