US Embassy in Sanaa on Security Alert [Archives:1998/33/Local News]

In the wake of the bombings of US embassies in Nairobi and Dar Es-Salam several US embassies abroad were put on higher security alert. This also resulted in temporary suspension of services to the public. The US embassy here was among them. State Department sources said they received information of threats to US interests in various countries, including Yemen.
