Volume of Oil Production Increased [Archives:2000/48/Business & Economy]

The volume of Yemens oil production has increased to 478,000 barrels per day after a new oil field was inaugurated in Hadramaut. The fields production capacity is 8,000 barrels per day. The field is expected to produce 25,000 barrels per day in the beginning of next year. The Norwegian oil company DNO is operating this field.
