SANA'A_ Organized by the Apolo Company for International Exhibition, the Summer Festival 2003 was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Trade & Industry, Mr. Khaled Rajeh last Saturday at the Expo Center in Sana'a.
The official inaugural ceremony started on August 2 and will continue till 13 of the same month.
The exhibition includes all the household goods such as, furniture, carpets, electrical machines, electronics and other diverse products produced by famous domestic as well foreign industrial companies.
Other Arab as well as foreign companies also take part in the exhibition, such as Egypt, Syria, Gulf State and China.
Other distinguished domestic booths also were present at the exhibition.
During the opening ceremony, the Trade & Industry Minister has expressed his deep appreciation of exhibition's organizers and efforts exerted for making a great success of this exhibition in order to display different domestic as well as international products suitable for local consumers with reasonable prices.
On the other hand, the General Manager of the exhibition, Mohammed Annehmi said that the company that organized the exhibition had taken a keen interest to receive a host of domestic and foreign trading companies producing and trading with furniture, household appliances, and other electrical products.
“Competition among those companies have been made with view of enabling local consumers to the most state-of-the-art products with lower prices,” Mr. Annehmi said
He further noted that the company was due to host the International Book Fair next September.
Other exhibitions and conferences are also to be organized for manufacturing and metal industry in Yemen.
