Womens Status at Ministries Discussed [Archives:2000/35/Local News]

An expended meeting for members and coordinators of the National Women Committee was held last Saturday at the Police Officers Club. The meeting which was chaired by Mrs. Rashidah Al-Hamdani, chairwomen of the Committee and Mrs. Horiah Mash-hour Vice Chairwomen discussed the analytical study made by the Committee on womens status in 8 ministries. A number of recommendations and suggestions were made to enhance womens participation in the decision making. Full report on womens status in ministries next week.
