Working Women  Symposium   [Archives:1998/08/Local News]

Due to start tomorrow, Tuesday February 24, and last for three days, the “National Symposium on Integrating Working Women in the Labor Market and Developing their Vocational Capabilities” is organized by the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, in cooperation with the Dutch embassy in Sanaa, the British Council and the German Technical Cooperation Establishment GTZ.

More than 40 researchers and representatives of local and international governmental and non-governmental organizations are expected to take part in the symposium.
To be discussed, are a number of important topics related to the obstacles hindering the total integration of working women in the Yemeni labor market and the advantages of vocational training for women.
