Workshop on Radio-Journalism [Archives:2004/763/Local News]

A training course organized by the Sana'a Radio Station in collaboration with the American Embassy was concluded on 4th August 2004. Some 25 trainees from Sana'a, Sai'oon, Hajjah, and al-Maharah stations participated in the course, which was on Radio-Journalism. The course lasted for 5 days during which the trainees received a number of lectures delivered by Prof. Norman R. (Sam) Swan of the University of Tennessee, America. The lectures gave information on conducting radio dialogues, as well as various media reports and news.
