Workshop on social integration [Archives:2004/747/Local News]

20 trainees in social development affairs participated in a workshop about social integration, organized by French DIA Organization in Taiz during 8-9 June.
Mr. Ayoub Al-Qasseme, the Social and Media Activities Officer, explained that the participants received theoretical and practical lectures on the definition of social integration, its positive and negative aspects, and the importance of integrating the least fortunate section of society, in addition to the role of educated personalities and social figures in social development.
He pointed out that the goal of the workshop is to activate the role of society in social integration awareness, directed at the poorest sections of society.
The workshop comes within the framework of the DIA social program, aiming to improve the condition of the lowest classes and to integrate them into mainstream society in Taiz Governorate.
