Sana’a. Oct. 28 – Organized by the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, an evaluation workshop related to the study of violence against children was held at the council’s headquarters in Sanaa on October 28.
The workshop was funded by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Several issues were highlighted by participants including reasons behind violence against children, consequences and solutions.
Violence against children is one of the most significant social issues that have been the focus of concerned bodies.
Such issues have become closely related to the child’s social childhood which influences his life as well as his personality.
This has led the authorities to pay due attention to the child’s current issues, because they constitute an integral part of the community where we live and define the future of the country.
