Yemen Addresses Refugees Issue to Parliamentarian International Conference in Amman [Archives:2000/19/Local News]

On May 4, 2000, Deputy Spokesman of Yemen, Yahya Al-Raee stressed on the importance of helping Palestinian refugees return to their territories without delay during the course of the Parliamentarian International Conference that was held in Amman, Jordan. He has also addressed the Somali refugees’ issue in Yemen and the heavy burden they represent on the economy of the country. He urged upon the international community to bear some of the responsibilities of Somali and African Horn States’ refugees in Yemen.
