Yemen Airways Adopts SITAs CUTE [Archives:2001/51/Local News]

Yemen Airways has selected SITAs Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE) to automate and improve check-in facilities at Sanaa and Aden airports.
Under the five-year contact, valued at nearly US$ 1 million, SITA will host and mange the implementation and maintenance of its CUTE system, consolidating check-in and boarding systems for many airlines operating at Sanaa and Aden airports.
The System will enable airlines operating at these airports to share passengers terminal handling facilities, such as check-in, transfer and gate counters, on a common use basis. Airlines will also be able to use their own parties host applications from the CUTE workstations for functions, including reservations, ticketing boarding bases and baggage tag issuance and departure control.
