Staff Col. Abdul Elah Atef, Commander of the Border Guards, is currently in Saudi for talks with his Saudi counterpart on the remaining locations connected with the demarcation of border signs between the two brotherly countries following the reluctance of some Yemeni tribes to the position of the signs.
The official sources said that the delegation would implement paragraph (a) of article (2) of Jeddah Borders Treaty.
The head of Yemen delegation was suspended following the Saudi construction of barrier at the borders between the two countries.
The border tribes of Waelah reject the demarcation of borders on their land considering a confiscation of their lands previously agreed upon with Saudi Wabam tribes.
