Yemen Female Media Forum rejects US support [Archives:2004/731/Local News]

The Yemen Female Media Forum, in a letter sent to the Cultural Attache of the US Embassy in Sana'a, informed the US Embassy of the withdrawal of its previous request for the support of the US for projects affiliated with the forum, unless the US government changes its policy in the region.
The letter explained that the rejection of US support comes in response to US support for Zionism in Palestine and in protest against the US crimes committed in Iraq. The rejection of US support, according to the letter, is hope to go some way to pacify the guilty conscience and passive reaction of the Yemeni people to then suffering of their brothers in Palestine and Iraq.
The letter also blames the US government for the crimes and slaughters taking place in Palestine and Iraq.
