Yemen loses YR 60 million on livestock annually [Archives:2002/17/Local News]

Yemen loses annually YR 60 million because of using female and young livestock as a source of meat, a recent report released by the Slaughterhouse Public Authority said.
The same report warns of the expansion of the gap between the production and the consumption of meat amid the persistence of production obstacles topped by the low investments in such sector of economy.
