Yemen-Oman to enhance media cooperation [Archives:2003/655/Local News]

Sanaa July 29 – Yemen and Oman signed on Monday a cooperation agreement in media field at the Saba News Agency headquarter in Sana'a. The agreement came after holding a session headed by the Yemeni Minister of Information, Mr. Hussein Dhaif Allah al-Awadi and Mr. Ahmed Bin Mohammed al-Rashadi, Oman Information Minister.
Talks between the two ministers focused on enhancing means to implement the previously signed agreements between the two countries as well as enlarging the horizons of cooperation and links between the different public and private media institutions of Yemen and Oman to improve their competence through the exchange of experiences and ideas.
This agreement came as part of a 4-day-visit paid by Omani Information Minister to Yemen.
