Yemen-Palestine agreement to establish joint economic committee [Archives:2008/1180/Local News]

SANA'A, Aug. 10 ) The Yemeni government and the Palestinian Authority signed a memorandum of understanding concerned with establishing a ministerial committee for economic and technical cooperation between the two sides yesterday.

A Palestinian official delegation headed by Salam Fayyadh, Prime Minister of the Interim Government, visited Yemen this past Friday and discussed preparations with President Ali Abdullah Saleh for forming a Palestinian agreed-upon government as well as ensuring the future cooperation between Yemen and Palestine in different fields.
