Yemen participates in meeting of UN Commission for the Handicapped [Archives:2004/740/Local News]

For the first time, a Yemeni delegation will take part in a meeting of the UN Commission for the Handicapped to discuss an international draft agreement on the rights of the handicapped during the period 24 May- 4 June 2004 in New York.
The Yemeni delegation will consist of four members representing the Ministry of Social Security and Labor, the Rehabilitating Fund of the Handicapped, the Federation of Handicapped Associations and the Arab Human Rights Corporation.
The participation of Yemen this year comes following the preparations of two workshops held on April 11 and May 2 of this year.
