Yemen takes part in second Earth Summit [Archives:2002/14/Local News]

Sana’aPreparations are in full swing at the Sheraton Hotel for the April 3 2002 workshop to deal with planning for the Earth Summit, to be held in the Johannesburg, South Africa from August 26 to September 4 2002.
The summit will deal with international commitment for sustainable development, and challenges that might block its way.
It aims at increasing awareness of the importance of protecting the environment, and the dangers that may result from its pollution.
