Yemen TV Awarded in Tunisia [Archives:2001/43/Local News]

The Arab Radio and Television Federation concluded its activities last week in Tunisia. During the festival, Ali Salah Ahmed, a program host for Yemeni TV, presented a working paper for developing mechanisms related to holding the festival in the upcoming years. Furthermore, the Yemeni Satellite Channel was awarded a medal at the festival.
The Yemeni satellite channel has developed vigorously owing to the great efforts of its staff headed by Mr. Abdulghani al-Shamiri. The head of the satellite channel sector went to Tunisia to take part in a meeting of the permanent committee to be held the 22nd and 23rd of the current month.
