Yemen Welcomes US Mediation to Solve Yemeni-Saudi Border Dispute [Archives:2000/09/Front Page]

A Yemeni official welcomed the initiative of the USA and other brotherly and friendly countries to mediate between Yemen and Saudi Arabia to bring closer their points of view in order to reach a fair solution to the border dispute either through negotiations or International Arbitration. “Sheikh Al-Ahmar’s objection to the American mediation affects the efforts of the two countries to reach a solution,” he said.
