Yemeni boxer achieved an unprecedented 4-0 KO record [Archives:2004/769/Community]

Rising American boxing star, of Yemeni origin, Brian “The Lion” Mihtar, scored his fourth KO victory on August 28 at Cobo Hall, Detriot- USA. With this victory, he has improved his record to 4-0 (4KO's).
Mihtar, who has become known to proudly represent the Yemeni expatriate community in Detroit, ended the bout with a vicious barrage of body shots that left his opponent Joe Howard flat on his back for several minutes. The fight has also been broadcast on Yemen TV.
Yemen Times has reported about Mihtar's rising success since his early beginnings.
In an exclusive statement to the Yemen Times, Ray Mihtar, Brian's brother, told the Yemen Times that this is a great achievement that deserves encouragement and support from Yemen as people and government.
