Yemeni-British Friendship Association Meets [Archives:2001/45/Local News]

The Yemeni-British Friendship Association held a periodic meeting for the administrative board at its premises on Friday, November 2, 2001. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Association Dr. Abdulah Abdulwali Nashir, the administrative board, and the British Ambassador to Yemen, as well as the members of the staff of the British embassy.
During the meeting, several issues of mutual interest were discussed, particularly the preparations related to holding the Yemeni-British friendship symposium and supporting the demand of Yemen to join the Commonwealth.
