SANA’A, July 30 ) In a symposium titled, “Zionist Aggression against Palestine and Lebanon”, and organized by the Civil Society Coalition, Yemeni activists called last Thursday, July 27, for a denouncing of the coverage and support provided by America to Israeli aggression, having refused a ceasefire and gone beyond limits in killing Lebanese civilians.
The participants asked the parties represented in Parliament to urge for the issuing of a law that would incriminate any cooperation with America or Britain and condemn any country that adopt a policy supporting Israel. They further asked for a halt to the security and military cooperation with America and Britain, and to stop all facilities and dealings with these countries’ administrations. They further called for boycotting of all American and British goods and commodities, and to activate execution means for boycotting at wide range.
They further asked the Arab regimes to make way for public efforts that can organize demonstrations and protests condemning the aggression, collect donations, activate boycotting, and spread a culture of resistance among people.
One of the participants, speaking of the Fatwa against Hezbollah, released by some Wahhabi doctrine followers in Saudi Arabia, declared that “these fatwas, aiming to disrupt the Islamic Nation, are irresponsible, He further said that people should go beyond these fatwas to face American-Zionist arrogance and aggression, calling further to support Palestinian and Lebanese resistance and strengthen efforts to back it.”
The participants described the Zionist war against Lebanon and Palestine as a crime against humanity, which has never been acknowledged. They asked the Civil Society Organizations to mobilize the public to pressure the Yemeni government into approving of a Criminal Court agreement, which was approved by Jordan and Djibouti alone, in order to make Zionist war criminals stand trail.
The participants additionally, declared “resistance in Lebanon and Palestine to be a human rather than an Islamic resistance, and the non-Muslim world must know that these countries have the right to resist and defend themselves and their lives.
