Yemeni Teachers Syndicate holds two conferences [Archives:2004/747/Local News]

The Yemeni Teachers Syndicate held on Monday and Tuesday, June 7th, 8th two of its regular conferences in Lahj and Marib.
The Third General Conference of the Teachers Syndicate in Lahj was held on Monday during which a new leadership was elected. Mr. Khalid Abdul Adheem was elected President of the Syndicate, Lahj Branch, and Mr. Adel Al-Nsari as the Head of the Audit and Control Committee and Mr. Najeeb Al-Saqaf , as Advisor to the branch.
On Tuesday, in Marib, the Fourth General Conference was held where Mr. Abdullah Harwan was elected President of the Branch, Mr. Mohamed Ateah was elected Chairman of the Audit and Control Committee, and Mr. Abdulhakeem Al-Qaise Advisor to the branch.
During both conferences, speeches were delivered confirming the importance of the syndicate's work and of strengthening responsible management practices to carry out the duties entrusted to the new leaderships. Final communiques were issued consisting of a number of recommendations and stances of the syndicate toward educational, political and social issues of great importance.
