The Yemeni Women's' Union (YWU) concluded on Sunday August 8 a 2-day workshop focusing on how to manage small limited-income projects.
Fawzia Noman, the secretary general of YWU, told Yemen Times “The YWU is holding this workshop on the small limited-income projects within a program of improving the capacities of YWU branch offices. Several previous workshops had been held with the aim of providing the branches with information on how to manage such projects, that YWU intends to establish in different governorates. Today we have 30 participants from 7 provinces. We intend to allow all participants to have a firm understanding of the concepts of small business management. In the future we also hope that the YWU branches can ultimately depend on their own resources through the projects that have been established.”
