Last Month the Faculty of Commerce and Economy organized from 23 to 25 a conference titled Yemens Future in the Local, Regional and International Changes. The working papers presented to the conference focused on the economic political and accounting issues like: Yemens joining the WTO, the coordinate sector role in leading the development process, globalization and its effects on the administration on business organizations, privatization from an economic perspective, the change of the states role, the future of industry, agriculture and food security, investment environment, its problems, scopes and other issues. The faculty has made very valuable efforts by organizing such conferences. This reflects the academic importance of analyzing the current economic conditions and problems and providing possible solutions and alternatives. However, it is necessary that all the people concerned in the executive authorities make the best use of the papers, researches, and recommendations presented to the conference. For those recommendations provide therapeutic solutions to the economic problems encountering the decision makers. Nevertheless, the important activities of the conference, namely the papers, discussions, decisions and recommendations that are related to the countrys future in the local, regional and international changes, were not fully covered by the media. Besides, those issues need to be discussed in more than one conference or seminar.
