Young robber commits suicide [Archives:2005/807/Local News]

Police have found the body of a young man who committed suicide, in a hotel room in Sana'a but were unable to identify the person immediately. They watched the room where the body was found and have arrested another man who visited the room. Police say that the men were members of a criminal gang of thieves.

According to a recent report by the Ministry of Interior, the number of suicides has increased in Yemen to more than 1200 people, attributing the increase to several social problems.
