A 16-year old boy is said to be held captive for a whole year in a tribal area in Shabwa governorate.
Mother of Mohammed Amir al-Ba’adani issued a press statement to mass media as well as human rights organizations all over the world to help her regain its boy.
Mohammed, according to his mother, was kidnapped a year ago by a tribal group led by Ali Balkhir al-Qafan from Shabwa, who demanded a big ransom to release him.
Mohammed’s mother added that she can’t afford this sum due to the difficult financial conditions she’s going through.
“Kidnappers are threatening to kill the boy if I refused to pay the ransom,” Mohammed’s mother added.
The kidnappers are influential figures in the Shabwa governorate and they had formerly kidnapped her husband three years ago holding him captive for seven months.
