13 Suicide incidents attempted in Yemen [Archives:2004/739/Local News]

The security apparati, during the past 7 days, have recorded 13 suicide incidents and attempts including 4 women in a number of governorates of the Republic.
According to the reports issued from the Operations Room of the Ministry of the Interior, the ages of those who committed suicide range between 25 and 35 years of age.
Of the four women who attempted suicide, two died. Of the nine men, four died, two by hanging themselves and the other two by taking poison.
Three of those who survived suicide attempts attempted to kill themselves by shooting themselves and the others by taking poison, including one 26-year old from Sana'a city.
