Writer Ms Huda Fadhl says in an article that the Yemeni Forum for Media Females, chaired by the journalist Ms Rahma Hujairah, has taken courageous steps in establishing a status deserved by Yemeni media women in the Arab and international media arena. The Forum aims at giving information on the Yemeni female journalists, their capabilities and their qualification through holding training courses on the profession as well as holding meetings between Yemeni female journalists and the parties supporting the project.
The presence of the journalist Ms Hujairah on the head of the forum serves very much the Yemeni female journalists as it has filled her position successfully and efficiently. The success of Yemeni media females is the task of all Yemeni female journalists in all governorates of the republic and all of them should endeavour to keep high this forum depicting the voice of Yemeni female journalists. The forum of Yemeni female journalists is considered the first organisation paying attention and interested in issues of Yemeni female journalists. It has been established with the aim of developing performance of Yemeni journalists professionally and providing various cultural means to guarantee achievement of a just and effective media message and for raising the level of the social awareness about the role of Yemeni female journalists in the process of comprehensive development.
