News Review: 1- The President: “Yemen will work on consolidating and developing cooperation with the World Bank and continue with its reform program.” 2- Sanaa Declaration emphsizes international support for Yemeni efforts to get rid of anti-personnle mines. 3- Minister of Planning: “YR 117 billion is allocated for the investment program in 1998.” 4- Military hospital to be opened in Mareb with German financial support. 5- Minister of Interior: “Those accused with Aden explosions will appear next week before court.” 6- Several ministers & 40 businessmen to accompany the President on his next week’s visit to Britain. 7- With Egyptian cooperation, Faculty of Navy was opened in Staff Coolege in Sanaa. 8- People’s Democratic Party (Hashd) is given license according to Law of Political Parties and Organizations.
