The paper reported that four international companies have been awarded the second international tender of seven oil blocs, Dr. Rasheed Ba Raba, minister of oil and mineral resources told the 26 September newspaper. The four winner companies are: the Australian Oil Search Co. awarded 2 blocs no 7 in Shabbawh governorate and no74 in Hudramout. The Korean KNOS has won bloc no.39 in Al-Maharah governorate and the Al-Thany Co. for Investment of U.A.E. has been awarded blocs 37, 34 in Al-Maharah and bloc 55 in Hujjah. American Oxxidental Co. has got bloc no75 in the governorate of Shabbwah.
