Yemen is due to partake in the 33rd International Geological Congress (IGC) which will be held on 6-14 August in Norway, the website reported in one of its lead stories.
It continued that Head of the General Authority for Geological Survey and Minerals Ismael Al-Janad, who will represent Yemen in the congress, said that Yemen will introduce several work papers that will focus on geology of the nation and display the participants to investment opportunities in the minerals field.
According to the army's news website, Al-Janad said that Yemen will also participate in a geological exhibition to be held on the sidelines of the congress.
At the exhibition maps that show investment opportunities in Yemen would be displayed and distributed to the participants.
