I am an American who just read the opinion published in your paper entitled “Even Without Saddam, the Nightmare Goes On.” I just wanted to commend the writer and only wish voices like this could be heard through our media in the United States, but most of those who oppose the Bush administration are labeled as echoers of the liberal ranting of Democrats. Funny, the real concerns of the American people are given about as much serious consideration as an article about aliens in one of our tabloid magazines. Our media is mostly to blame, I believe, for the attitudes we seem to have adopted. I cannot even depend upon my journalists (free press!) to deliver the information necessary for me or anyone else to actually see the reality of it all.
