I am a Yemen reader from Rada'a in Beidha governorate. I have been living in the USA since ten years ago, and have a legitimate question that I want to ask in this section of your opinion page.

My question is: why don't Yemenis obey the law in the city, e.g., traffic regulations? I have noticed that there had been a lot of accidents in Sana'a because of this. Is it because there is no government enforcement or control? Or is it because of corruption? It is just a question that I hope one could give an answer for.
