Al-Jouf Governorate to get health projects [Archives:2004/718/Local News]

The Yemen Times has been told that US Ambassador Edmund Hull is currently making contacts with some prominent Sheiks Al-Jouf Governorate in an effort to obtain the approval of the related authorities in order to pay a visit to the governorate which he was denied earlier for security reasons.
Four health projects are to be built there.
The US had financed the renovation and furnishing of the President's Hospital in Marib at a cost of $2 million.
The financing of these projects is part of the strategy to develop these regions and prevent them from becoming a refuge for terrorists.
