The writer Abdulbari Tahir says the invasion and occupation are the origin of crime and torture in jails, despite of its ugliness, remains an indivisible part of the great offence, i.e. the aggression on people and a nation, occupation of the land, and raping of everything. It is the destruction of the Iraqi state, plundering antiquities dating back to thousands of years and dismembering the unity of Iraq is the epidemic that gives birth to all crimes, including the destruction of mosques, besieging cities and demolition of houses on heads of their inhabitants as well as cases of continued storming, as Israel does in Palestine. International condemnation of the torture and inhumane practices is no longer enough and therefore there must be a concentration on the occupation itself because it is the essence of all calamities. The Arab nation is called for solidarity with the Iraqis and the Palestinians who are confronting with their chests and bodies the most criminal military force in this time.
