Article Summary: Childish Behavior at Prison Visitors wishing to see their imprisoned relatives at the Sanaa Central Prison have to bribe the prison officials to let them in. Soldiers and officers manning the prison’s front gate as well as the internal gates have to be paid. As an example, on January 21st each visitor had to pay YR 300 at the front gate and YR 600 inside! Responding to complaints by some visitors, one office alleged that this is “the custom around here which is done with the prison director’s full knowledge.” What does the Minister of Interior think about that?
