Columnist Zaid al-Shami says in his article all of us wish to have elections held in safe atmospheres away from extortion and exploitation of influence and without terror and or threats, especially under the difficult circumstances the nation is experiences and continuation of aggression on Iraq. This necessitates that we should be more united and cooperating. If we have t compete in elections it should be under and according to the law and constitution without flexing muscles or fraud.
These might be wishes others might think them to be not easily realized but we have to make them as facts with more awareness and then to stand firmly against anyone wanting to make himself above the law and might think it is his right to confiscate others freedoms.
He writer maintains that the ruling party has the ability to make elections an opportunity for honest competition and can on the other hand make them an arena for conflict and sedition and instigation spites.
