Columnist Zaid al-Shami says in his article that eight months ago American forces entered Baghdad and ending by that the rule of president Saddam Hussein and nothing was left then but capturing him and his aides. It seems it took a long period before the capture of Saddam Hussein particularly that many of those in his close circle have abandoned him. It is a link in the nation's tragedy and a dark period in her history because of despotism that confiscates freedoms and abolishes mentalities. But the peoples hold part of the responsibility because they have accepted humiliation and injustice and surrendered to the fait accompli. They did not resist or oppose and abstained from offering any sacrifice. Despotism and injustice that happened in Iraq is the same that happens in all our Arab countries in various sizes and an weight. The authority is the only designer that possesses the truth and whoever opposes it he is a rancorous and putting on dark glasses.
We would not come out of the dark tunnel without the spreading of atmospheres of freedom and fighting tyranny. Peoples must not accept the cult of personality and gagging mouths.
