The newspaper's international affairs editor says in an article that the Arab political situation is characterized by stagnation and deterioration. It is characterized by violation of human rights, high rates of unemployment, Arab capitals invested in the west, and forced brain drain. The Arab political system has reached to the extent of bankruptcy. The system has to conduct a series of surgery and grafting operations so that its system could be acceptable. Otherwise, this Arab system would ultimately fall. Before conducting such operations there has to be a diagnosis of the ills this official Arab system is suffering from. Nowadays the Arab league is trying with efforts to pinpoint failures of the Arab political system and their causes. The nation would not be able to catch up with human civilization progress unless it would adopt factors of civilization and science and particularly democracy, respect of human rights and restoring dignity to the Arab citizen. The suppressive regimes have robbed him of his dignity and rights. We are facing a difficult situation and the Arab leaders have to choose either the road of liberation and freedom from injustice and deterioration or the irrevocable downfall.
