The newspaper's editorial says that concerning the defense of the homeland's sovereignty, security and stability against external dangers we are proud to extend our hands to the political system in Yemen regardless of whatever negatives it might have because threatening the homeland and the defense of its dignity are much bigger and greater than defending and supporting ourselves as priority. Ourselves would never be a means to be used by the tyrant of the age that has become an entity in harmony with the Israeli enemy.
We have always been warning that the homeland is facing danger and now we warn against consequences of some political forces exploitation of the current situation for seeking the help of the foreigner and squandering the homeland and its dignity and the Yemeni people.
Our war on corruption would not be an instrument or a vehicle to be boarded by Washington and Tel Aviv to bring our political regime to its knees and then to bring our people to their knees before Bush and Sharon, this would be impossible. If our present battle is against corruption the internationalization of this battle represents squandering it from its national content and rendering all symbols of corruption a form of foreign interference. The most important thing is that this battle against corruption is a Yemeni matter alone and an internal affair and any external power is not allowed to take part in it because we not unable to defend our political and economic entity against the corrupt.
