Writer Farouq Muqbil wrote saying the government has the right to enforce the sales tax. It is logic not to be denied. The government has not imposed a law as a fait accompli before gaining the approval of representative of 19 million people in 301 electoral constituencies.

If it is the right of the government to apply the law of the sales tax, it is also the right of the 19 million people or Yemen to demonstrate and refuse it. However, when the demonstrations become as acts of riots it would not panic the government as much as it would open an opportunity for it to a practical training of its truncheons and special means for protecting the people against destroying themselves.
